Whether you have a heat pump now or plan to get one in the future, our heat pump kit enables you to benefit from our performance-enhancing heat pump mode. Designed to integrate any Mixergy X or Solar X cylinder with both low and high-temperature heat pumps. Our externally mounted plate heat exchanger can increase your efficiency by up to 10%.
The pack contains two main units:
- The Heat Transfer Module incorporates a high surface area plate heat exchanger and circulator pump to enable high-performance heat transfer between the heat pump and cylinder. This module replaces a traditional coil and can provide better volumetric efficiency, reheat speed, heat pump performance and serviceability than a conventional system.
- The Heat Pump Interface provides an electrical interface between the heat pump DHW system and the Mixergy controller.
Technical Specification
The Heat Pump Kit uses an externally mounted plate heat exchanger to maximise the efficiency of your heat pump and can be fitted to your Mixergy cylinder at any time.

Installing Mixergy
The Heat Pump Kit is easy to install, compatible with the Mixergy X and Solar X, and will work alongside the PV Switch Kit. Combined with a 25-year warranty on our cylinders, Mixergy products are prepared for whatever the future holds.
Requirements
- You must hold a current G3 qualification to install unvented hot water cylinders.
